When this distilled version was discovered for the first time in 2007, one thing was obvious: the refining in sherry casks fits like a glove to this emblematic single malt from the Lowlands region. Better still, its aromatic and gustatory palette, very nuanced and wonderfully fruity, has been enriched with gourmet and spicy notes as well as superb autumnal hues that further enhance its deeply malty character.
