Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Highlands
Founded in 1798 in the town of Pitlochry, the Aldour distillery was renamed Blair Athol in 1825. Closed between 1932 and 1949, it doubled its production capacity in 1973, going from two to four stills. Full of character, the aromatic and gustatory palette of this version matured in sherry casks reveals this Highland malt in a more medicinal and earthy light than usual. Moreover, full of serenity, she tactfully restores the softness of expression that usually characterizes the Blair Athol style.
