Tasting Notes
Nose: Dusty… really fresh grains, one could be in a brewery or grain field. All the notes of rich virgin oak freshly charred barrel coming over a rich spiciness. Milk chocolate, brandy
snap biscuits, gingerbread, fresh nutmeg and a few herbs. Thick and syrupy. Perfumes, wood polish, a smart & slick bar counter. Dried fruits.
Palate: On the entry an immediate hit of delicate little spices which once fully on the palate, moves away from delicate, and into big rich rye spice. Allowed to coat the tongue, sweetness and
lots of desert notes. Ginger flapjacks, toffee richness. Dates, chestnuts and turkey stuffing. Dried cranberry.
Finish: Finish is spicy, long and warming. A spicy hot toddy, clove, ginger, a little star anise, slightly herbal and a final finish of mince pies.
