Master blender Takashi Kiyoi and distiller Yusuke Yahisa created this lightly peated single malt, distilled in August 2020 and then matured exclusively in Mizunara hogshead cask for three years. Each cask is carefully selected according to the distillery’s vision : one brew, one cask, which fully showcases the flavors of the Nagahama malt unadorned. The result is a masterpiece that marries the subtle allure of peat with the distinct charm of Mizunara oak.
