Single Malt Whisky, Ecosse / Islay

The vivid imagination of Islay enthusiasts runs wild with the mere mention of Octomore, the single malt produced by Bruichladdich since 2002. Peat and smoke is obviously present, and of course medicinal and peppery notes. However, there is more to come: a handful of fruit and a selection of honeys are more than just extras here, they have an essential role to play in the balance of this Octomore’s aromatic and flavorful palette.
