Single Malt Whisky, Australia

Founded in 1994, the Sullivans Cove distillery is located in Cambridge, not far from Tasmania’s capital, Hobart. Equipped with only one still for both wash and spirit runs, it produces a single malt from 100% local barley. Ageing their whiskies for significantly longer than most Australian distilleries, Sullivans Cove is known for their rich and rustic spirit character. In very high demand, certain versions, aged notably in French oak, have played an important role in building the distillery’s reputation amongst enthusiasts across the world. This truly outstanding 11-year-old version was clearly destined to join La Maison du Whisky’s first International bottlings for the Artist Range Profile.
