Mark Reynier formerly of Bruichladdich distillery on Islay (Octomore and Port Charlotte) sold his ownership to Rémy Cointreau and went on to found Waterford Distillery in Waterford (Ireland) after acquiring the old Guinness brewery from Diageo. Through Waterford distillery he has single handedly brought the concepts of terroir and biodynamics to whisky production but he didn’t stop there. Having founded two game-changing distilleries, one in whisky, one in rum, he’s now considered one of the leading producers of spirits in the world, and is profiled in world leading publications from Forbes to Inside Hook.
