Terroir of Vertus (Premier Cru), approximately a 1h16 bike ride from Epernay heading south. This vintage is made from 100% chardonnay grapes harvested in 2009. The Millésimé 2009 is vinified through stainless steel tanks, with no malolactic fermentation and then aged for 12 years.

A low dosage of just 5g/L.

Tasting Comment: A very subtle wine! Its floral and yellow fruit aromas offer a smooth and homogenous mouth. Notes of frangipane and lavender honey are revealed in the finish.

Perfect Pairing: Creamed scallops with saffron, and coffee macaroons.
