Elaborated mainly with 67% corn, 20% rye and a hint of smoked barley with Californian cherry wood, this inventive recipe bourbon is bottled at 48% in the new range of Distiller’s Editions. Delicious and fruity, the aromatic profile is marked by aging in new oak barrels for more than a year, where notes of dried figs, roasted almonds, morello cherries and leather mingle.
Profile: Powerful, delicately smoky. Dried figs, toasted almonds, morello cherries and leather.
TASTING NOTE
Nose: Oak, roasted strawberry, spices, cloves, smoke, bourbon vanilla and pieces of maraschino cherries.
Palate: Oak, spices, cereals, grapes, sweet cherry, citrus zest, vanilla and cocoa.
Finish: Moderately long, dry. Vanilla, toasted oak, dried fruit.
