Takeno Shuzo was created in 1947 by the association of four previously closed Sakaguras (sake houses). Since then, they have continued to perpetuate the quality standards of this local sake. Takeno works on fine and complex sakes for bottle ageing, which are refined year after year. In addition, it is one of the rare houses to state the vintage of its sakes and not to enter any technical information, because the beauty of their cuvées can be appreciated without numbers.
Profile
This sake, the driest in the range reveals aromas of cucumber and melon, alongside subtle notes of peppermint. The full, spicy palate ends on a slightly cereal finish.
