This Ben Nevis 2014 – 100 Proof – Cask #63 – Signatory Vintage is a young and vibrant single malt, bottled at high strength to preserve all the energy and natural richness of the spirit. Founded in 1825 in Fort William, at the foot of Scotland’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis is renowned for its unmistakable style: a thick and slightly waxy distillate, pronounced minerality, deep fruity notes, and a character that can sometimes feel a little wild. Owned by the Japanese group Nikka since 1989, the distillery is highly regarded by enthusiasts for its old-school personality, oily texture, and distinctive identity, making every independent bottling a sought-after discovery.

Nose : Expressive and dense, with candied citrus, baked apple, damp malt, a touch of wax, and the typical Ben Nevis mineral edge.

Palate : Bold and powerful. Ripe yellow fruits, marzipan, lively spices, orange zest, and a lightly waxy, earthy backbone.

Overall : Long and persistent. Spices, sweet malt, bittersweet citrus, and mineral notes.
