Single Malt Whisky, Scotland/Highlands-Arran

The single malt was finished in port casks donated by an artisan producer of this renowned Portuguese fortified wine. Master Blender, James MacTaggart, carefully monitored this “second maturation” to ensure the balance between the contribution of the port casks and the sweet, fruity character representative of Arran. Bottled at 50% ABV to maximise the concentration of aromas and flavours, unchill-filtered and without colouring, this powerful, well-balanced single malt develops notes of hazelnut, strawberry jam and tangerine.
