BLENDED MALT WHISKY: Ichiro’s Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a blended malt produced by the Japanese brand Ichiro’s Malt.

PROFILE: This whisky displays a rich and decadent profile, featuring notes of red berries, dark chocolate, vanilla and sweet spices. This blend of single malts from Chichibu, Hanyu and Scotland is finished in casks that contained red wine before a final maturation in egg-shaped Ovum barrels.

Nose : Zesty orange, dark chocolate, delicate malt, black licorice.

Palate : Suave and rich, with red fruits and sweet spices. Develops on a vanilla sweetness with the unctuousness of dark chocolate and walnut.

Overall : Long, sustained by spices and delicate chocolate.
