Terroir of the Côte des Bar located approximately 6h56 bike ride from Epernay to the south. This vintage is made from a 60% blend of pinot noir and 40% chardonnay, of which 73% was harvested in 2018 and 27% harvest from reserve wine. This Brut is vinified with partial malolactic fermentation and then aged for a minimum of 40 months.
A low dosage of just 6g/L.
Tasting Comment: Light iodine and dried fruit notes accompany the aroma of yellow fruits. A smooth mouthfeel for a Champagne that makes everyone agree!
Perfect Pairing: Oyster mushrooms risotto, and red mullet fish with sage butter.
