Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Highlands
In 2022, production at Edradour reached 191,000 litres of pure alcohol, with approximately 4,500 litres of pure alcohol dedicated to its peated single malt, Ballechin, which joined the range in 2002. Peated to 50 ppm, it is every bit as appealing as its more famous peers on Islay. Perfectly embodying the Ballechin style, this version moves to the rhythm of an omnipresent peat. Also deeply malty, the palette of flavours and aromas elegantly reveals superb floral and fruity tones.
