Mezcal, Mexico / Oaxaca
Captivated by the play of light, transparency and reflection through colours, Ron Cooper, a recognized artist, roams the Oaxaca region in his spare time to discover mezcals. From these meetings was born a range called Del Maguey Single Village within which he exhibited his discoveries including Arroqueno, a mono varietal mezcal from the village of Santa Catarina Minas.

TASTING NOTE
Colour: Colourless.
Nose: Affirmed, lively. Fruity and spicy, it is also lactic (cheese, creme fraiche).Salt and lemons suddenly arise. Later, oranges, roses and clover join the party. It emanates from the whole a heady feeling full of warmth.
Palate: Clean, precise. In the exact extension of the nose from which it takes up a large part of the aromas. Foremost among them are the lactic notes, this time apricot or raspberry yogurt. It constantly gains in finesse.
Finish: Long, fine. Salt, lemon and pepper are deposited in a very classic way. However, it does not lose anything of its originality. This is based on gentle oxidation and creamy notes. The retro olfaction is herbaceous (mint, coriander) and balsamic (vinegar).
