Rum, Jamaica
The Clarendon distillery is a subtle combination of tradition and modernity: a multi-column on one side and 2 stills (Vendome and Calandria-i) on the other. It is on this last part that Monymusk, in the south of the island, also manufactures its own marks like the great Jamaican distilleries. EMB is the old mark of Bog Estate (closed in 1948) and integrates the Wedderburn category.
Jam fruit, roundness in the mouth and good length make this Habitation Velier seductive from the first sip.
