Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Speyside

Located in Rothes, the Glenrothes distillery was founded in 1878. Between 1963 and 1989, the number of its stills increased from four to ten and in 1993, a first 1979 vintage was born. Its single malt is notably used in the composition of the famous blended scotch Cutty Sark and The Famous Grouse. With absolutely remarkable balance and depth, the aromatic and gustatory palette of this version also shows a rare fullness. Subtle blend of accomplished maturity and youthful spirit, note after note, it reveals a hilly landscape whose colourful colours evoke with great realism the region of Speyside.
