Single Malt Whisky, Scotland/Highlands
While the Harris distillery began producing gin in September 2015, it was in December of the same year that it distilled its very first whisky. Between 2016 and 2022, production increased from 5 to 10 brews a week, bringing its annual capacity to around 200,000 litres of pure alcohol.
Aged in a cask containing bourbon produced by the Heaven Hill distillery, this version, whose medicinal aromas are the only reminder of its phenol content (14 ppm), is studded with particularly voluble fruity, spicy and vanilla sequences.
