TASTING NOTES
Profile: Spicy and delicate with fruity notes.
Nose : spicy and delicate, it is also fruity (yellow plum, peach skin) and chocolatey. It lingers on old leather, dried tobacco leaf and dried fruit (apricot, fig).
Palate : greedy and generous, it provides a sensation of candied fruit (orange peel), fruit in brandy (morello cherry) with a nice smoothness. Creamy, it develops on toffee, mocha and grilled dried fruits (hazelnuts).
Overall : long and worthy of old Speyside whiskies, it is marked by praline, burnt wood and cigar smoke. Anise flower and citrus bring freshness to this whisky. Fine herbaceous notes are also present (dry herbs).
