Single Pot Still Whiskey, Ireland / County Cork

Produced from 1912 to 1985 by the spirits merchant Gilbey, Ireland’s most famous single pot stills was relaunched in 1991 by the Irish Distillers group, founded in 1966 and owned by Pernod Ricard since 1988. This magnificent version’s stripped-back palette of flavours and aromas is filled with fruity, chocolatey, mineral and herbaceous sequences that beam with maturity.
