The road to 10 years was long and intense! After the 2013 edition (barrels aged 3 to 5 years) then the 2015 edition (barrels aged 5 to 7 years) and finally the blend of barrels aged 7 to 10 years, the On the Way series (en route for the 10 years!) has ended. Make way for the long-awaited 10 years of Chichibu: The First Ten.

Blend of around 26 barrels which have all aged for more than 10 years. Mainly in bourbon casks of 1st filling but also in Mizunara casks, in sherry casks and so on. A small portion of peated whiskey brings complexity to the blend that we find in tasting.
