Spectrum benefits from a mosaic of tastes and flavors thanks to its unique aging. Initially aged in ex bourbon casks, this whiskey was then refined in a custom-designed cask. Traditionally, a single variety of wood is used to impart aromas and complexities to freshly distilled malt. For this unique experience, it is in a barrel composed of 4 different types of wood that Amrut Spectrum has aged: American oak cask, slightly burnt French oak cask, Ex-Oloroso cask and Ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask. The result is a complex, captivating and seductive single malt.
