The Sanchez distillery is a small family business established for more than 150 years in Candelaria Yegol, a village in the state of Oaxaca. It has been four generations that the Sanchez maestro mezcaleros have succeeded one another from father to son to develop artisanal mezcales of exceptional quality. Agave Mexicano is one of the least used agaves in the production of Mezcal. Its maturity period is reached after 10 to 12 years of growth.
This defines the complex character of this mezcal, at the same time fruity, herbaceous but also sweet and buttery notes.
