Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Highlands-arran

Founded in 1993 by Harold Currie, Arran’s first distillery was recently renamed Lochranza, the name of the village where it is located. Equipped with two wash stills and two spirit stills, it began production on August 17, 1995. While the Arran distilled the same year but aged in bourbon barrels from the 2022 creation catalog shone in particular for its freshness of expression, this version demonstrates great mastery in terms of aging in sherry casks. Very full-bodied, its aromatic and gustatory palette reveals floral, fruity or even chocolate notes of extreme refinement, underlined by subtle scents of faded rose.
