This Benriach 10 Year Old 1st Fill Koval Rye is a Speyside single malt aged in American rye casks from the Koval craft distillery in Chicago. This type of maturation brings a spicier, drier and more edgy dimension to Benriach’s naturally fruity style. Founded in 1898, Benriach is known for its ability to explore a wide range of aromas through the use of a multitude of cask types. Here, the influence of rye enriches the house character — orchard fruit, honey, vanilla — with a framework of sweet pepper, toasted cereal and warm spices.
