Founded in 1967 in the Northern Highlands, Clynelish Distillery is renowned for its instantly recognisable style, defined by a unique waxy texture, mineral freshness and elegant coastal salinity. Highly sought after by enthusiasts, the distillery combines precision, depth and remarkable ageing potential. This 2016 vintage, bottled at 100 Proof by Signatory Vintage, matured for 10 years in refill Oloroso, a cask that adds fruit and spice without overshadowing the distillate’s identity. The result preserves Clynelish’s hallmark waxy signature while adding subtle sherry depth.

Nose : Orange zest, beeswax, raisins, hazelnut and a light saline note.

Palate : Lively and structured. Ripe apple, dried fruits, sweet spices, rich malt and lingering waxy texture.

Overall : Long and clean, with gentle pepper, fine oak and elegant salinity.
