Tancho is an authentic and innovative Japanese single malt whisky that showcases the 270+ year old traditions and craftsmanship of the Hakutsuru sake brewery in Nada. This exquisite, semi-sweet whisky is distilled and aged in eastern Hokkaido, one of the sacred lands of whisky making in Japan. After maturing for more than 3 years in selected casks, it is again stored in a special Mizunara cask to preserve its original flavor reminiscent of the aroma of Taru (cask-aged) sake.
