Single Malt Whisky Japan

Single Malt Kanosuke is crafted from whiskies distilled in three pot stills and matured in a variety of casks, including ex-shochu, sherry and bourbon casks. Each distinctive character is vatted together, layering the elegance and fineness of Japanese whisky with a richer, mellow flavour. This limited edition is a unique sherry casks expression generously using whiskies aged in two types of sherry casks: Oloroso and Cream. This single malt explores Kanosuke’s signature mellow style, while retaining the spicy Japanese nuance derived from shochu casks, which are an essential component of the distillery’s profile. A touch of new American white oak casks has also been added as an accent.

Color : Reddish Amber

Nose : Dark cherry, vanilla, Nikki (Japanese cinnamon), raspberry.

Palate : Soft raisins, dark chocolate, cloves, fruits pound cake.

Overall : Tropical mangosteen, a subtle, oaky dryness lingering on the long finish.
