The Xtra Old Particular range is one of Douglas Laing’s most prestigious and is reserved for Scottish single malts and single grains aged for at least 18 years and bottled at cask strength. It is an Islay single malt, and not the least, that has been selected to represent this range in La Maison du Whisky’s Antipodes catalogue in 2023. With exceptional presence yet infinite finesse, its palette of flavors and aromas explores floral, fruity, salty, chocolate and tarry lands, on a backdrop of peat fields through which it ventures as and when it pleases.
