Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Islay
Equipped with six Oregon Pine washbacks for fermentations lasting between 60 and 105 hours, the Bruichladdich distillery uses only Scottish barley, 50% of which is grown on the Isle of Islay. This version matured in a sherry cask unsurprisingly echoes the remarkable 20 year old bourbon cask also featured in the New Vibrations catalogue. Over time, the wonderfully powdery palette of flavours and aromas reveals outstanding notes of camphor and spices.
