Rum, Grenada

The River Antoine distillery is a monument of history in the world of rum. Founded in 1785, it is quite simply the oldest rum factory on the island of Grenada but also in the West Indies. Throughout its history, it has kept the same artisanal manufacture of rum from pure cane juice, perpetuating the tradition of crushing the cane using a hydraulic mill, spontaneous fermentation without adding yeasts and finally of distillation through an iron still. Rivers is an intense rum with citrus and “esterized” notes.
