Behind number 53 lies Islay’s largest distillery. Renovated in 1974, the distillery is equipped with three 19,000-litre wash stills and three 13,000-litre spirit stills. Very naturally embodying the characteristic smoky, peaty and marine nature of this outstanding single malt, this version is replete with incredibly youthful honeyed and milky sequences.
