Number 13 is code for a distillery founded in 1839 and equipped with eight stills, the oldest of which was installed in 1874. After being requisitioned by the Royal Navy in 1917, production started up again in 1923. This remarkably fresh version was matured in casks previously containing a young sweet Andalusian “Cosecha wine from the Pedro Ximenez variety. Its aromatic character reveals notes of cherry blossom, bringing out its divine spring character.
