Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Speyside

The Benrinnes distillery was fully renovated in 1956 and in 1966 doubled its production capacity. Equipped with two wash stills and four spirits stills, it practised partial triple distillation until 2009, when it returned to double distillation, with each wash still connected to two spirit stills. Wonderfully embodying the old school style for which its single malt is known, this version finished in an Oloroso sherry cask naturally develops to the rhythm of fruity, floral, empyreumatic and malty humours.
