Single Grain Whisky, Belgium

Located in Oudenaarde, East Flanders, the Braeckman distillery has been producing gin since 1918 according to tradition. After having built a new distillery in 1996, Filip Braeckman, who represents the third generation of this family of master distillers, started production of a grain whisky in 2007. Made from 50% rye and 50% barley rye and 50% barley, this highly evocative suggestive version particularly highlights all the qualities of a fruity and spicy distillate.
