The Bunnahabhain distillery is equipped with six Oregan pine wash-backs and four pot stills, which can claim to be some of the largest in Scotland (alongside Glenmorangie and Jura). Particularly ample, this venerable version highlights the magnificence of its sherry cask ageing and immerses us in a world overflowing with exuberance that is at once luxurious, exotic, floral, balsamic and spicy. Superb notes of precious wood and polish liven up the complex, smooth and mellow palette of flavours and aromas.
