Single Malt Whiskey, Scotland / Speyside
Founded in 1897, the Caperdonich distillery was put to sleep five years later. Reopened in 1965 under the name Glen Grant no. 2, it was dismantled in 2002 and demolished in 2010. Although extremely confidential, this single malt enjoys a very high reputation among amateurs. After the sensational Caperdonich 1966 sherry cask bottled at the end of the 1990s by Signatory Vintage and the no less remarkable 1972 vintage “from Huntly to Paris”, aged in bourbon casks and selected by La Maison du Whiskey from the house Duncan Taylor, this version joins the very small circle of the best Caperdonich. Absolutely remarkable, it is one of the flagship bottlings of our Artist range, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.
