Tasting Note
Topaz
Fine, racy. More introverted than the nose of the 1992 vintage, he asks that we go to him. White flowers, chalk and vanilla notes then shine with clarity. It goes towards citrus zest (orange, clementine) and spices (cumin, cinnamon). A fine, slightly buttery woodiness gradually appears.
Rich, proud. On the contrary, it shows itself to be very outgoing with its notes of passion fruit, mango, apricot and blackberry. The mid-palate adds new fruits (melon, watermelon, fresh fig). She then takes us to breathe the damp smell of a cellar (mushroom, oak).
Long, intensely vanilla. It is in turn fruity (white peach, ripe grapes). With serenity, it takes a bucolic path strewn with wild flowers and forest fruits (strawberry, blueberry). The retro olfaction is finely woody and vanilla and the empty glass is floral (daisy, dandelion).
