Glenkinchie Distillers Edition has been finished in second-maturation Amontillado sherry casks, whose elegant nutty character was chosen to round out and deepen the sweetness and dryness of Glenkinchie. Its firm, dry, and distinctly malty palate concludes with a spicy, oaky finish.

Nose : Lively, angular, and crisp. Complex and excellent. Expresses a stunning balance of sweet and dry. Firmer, drier notes from sweet vanillin and crisp grape, and sweeter, nuttier notes from malted barley and oak.

Palate : It dries out after an initial biscuity sweetness. Its considerable malty character contrasts with the finesse of the grape fruitiness.

Finish : Very long, dry, woody. Very subtle peppery notes give it a spicy aspect.
