Rye Whiskey, France
This rye whisky was made with organic rye and barley (55% and 45%). The grains were malted and fermented on site before being distilled in a wood-fired Coyac still by home-distiller Gilles Boudier. Bottled at 60% ABV, this expression was matured for 42 months in French oak casks previously used for cognac and bottled at this strength to better highlight the rye’s characteristics.
