TASTING NOTES

Nose : Elegant, racy. Very fine, the initial nose is delicately peaty, smoky, medicinal (mustard seed) and spicy (cloves, pepper). Allowed to breathe, as the peat becomes oilier and more saline, exotic fruits (passion, kiwi), white flowers (lilac, lily) and musky and camphorated aromas subtly permeate the ambient atmosphere. Then, candied lemons and notes of vetiver gradually come to the top of the aromatic palette.

Appearance : Pale gold.

Palate : Ample, rich. Wonderfully lemony and vanilla, the attack on the palate is also superb with its herbaceous freshness (cut hay, anise). Slender and poetic, the mid-palate deposits white flowers on an asphalt heated by the rays of the sun. Empyreumatic (ash, sleet, eucalyptus), the finish is also minty. At this precise moment, unexpectedly, the taste palette opens the doors to a malting area.
Overall : Long, full of liveliness. Like the attack on the palate, the start of the finish is both vanilla and lemony, accompanied by base notes of artichoke. Earthy, iodized and saline, the aftertaste reveals numerous essential oils (savory, rosemary, sage). Milky (coconut, agave), the retro-nasal olfaction gives way to a liquorice, lemony and intensely smoky peat (burning cigar). The empty glass is floral (lavender), malty (porridge) and smoky.
