Armagnacs, France / Gascony

Created in 2011 by a small group of passionate friends, L’Encantada is a house that respects this noble product that is Armagnac, from an atypical and authentic terroir. The Encantada aims to make people discover in all humility a know-how and a history, specific to this alcohol which is more than 700 years old. Vincent, the cellar master makes a careful selection of each vintage. The eaux-de-vie are then bottled “brut de cask”, in order to keep the identity of each barrel.

The Encantada Renaissance Range is a premium range of 3 Armagnacs bottled in 3 pretty bottles representing a fresco created by an artist. These are three vintages, from different estates, three bas Armagnacs all very different in variety but very tasty. The 1989 Domaine Artigaux Armagnac comes from a humid cellar, from 100% ugni blanc grapes. The juice is very round and greedy, we find oxidative notes and aromas then a taste of baked apple.
