BEENLEIGH 8 YO 2015, MAGNUM SERIES #2 1500ML
Founded in 1884, Beenleigh Distillery sits on the banks of the Albert River in South-East Queensland. It produces molasses-based rum using sugarcane crushed at Rocky Point Sugar Mill, the last privately owned mill in Australia. Distillation begins in a column still, followed by a second run through a copper pot still. Matured in bourbon casks, this limited edition was bottled at 60%, delivering a bold and unmistakable profile.
CLARENDON 10 YO 2014, MBS, MAGNUM SERIES #2 1500ML
Established in 1780, Clarendon Distillery is part of the National Rums of Jamaica group. Equipped with a triple column still for producing light rums, it also uses two double-retort pot stills to create heavy rums with ester levels reaching up to 1,500 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol. This particular bottling carries the distillery’s own “MBS” mark, with ester levels ranging between 10 and 60 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol.
HAMPDEN 13 YO 2010 LROK, MAGNUM SERIES #2 1500ML
With ester levels of 200–400 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol, this expression belongs to the LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly) marque, first created by Hampden in 1952. Aged in bourbon casks, it opens with a smooth profile before unfolding into bolder, more mineral-driven layers. Lively sequences of exotic fruits create a mouth-watering progression through each stage of the tasting experience.
