Agricole Rum, France / Guadeloupe

Distilled in March 2022 and transferred to an open-grain oak cask previously used for cognac, this version immediately recreates the barrel’s wonderful toasted and vanilla notes while maintaining the fresh expression of pure cane juice distillate fresh off the still. In doing so, it becomes the logical follow-up to the two Papa Rouyo bottlings aged respectively for 120 and 450 days in stainless steel vats featured in the Antipodes collection. Deeply expressive, it reveals superb notes of lime that continue to be released even from the empty glass.
