Stauning Peat is a Danish Single Malt made from local peat and barley, ground malted at the distillery, and aged in ex-first fill bourbon casks.

With this expression, Stauning has captured the essence of the West Jutland region of Denmark, where the distillery is located. A region benefiting from very pure water, where the fields of heather are swept by coastal winds and iodized spray, and where there is excellent quality peat.
