Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Speyside
One cannot evoke Strathisla without mentioning the mythical “sherry cask” bottlings of the famous house Gordon & MacPhail, versions dating back to the 1930s appearing in the firmament of single malts. Enthusiastic, this version is in the same vein. Aged in a first-fill sherry cask, it is particularly voluble, as evidenced by its aromatic palette which could almost be self-sufficient. Just as talkative, its taste palette follows spicy, malty, chocolate, exotic, autumnal and floral paths of great nobility of expression.
