A year after the launch of its first single malt, The Hearach, the Isle of Harris distillery unveils The Hearach Oloroso. This edition is a distinctive expression of the historic spirit of the Isle of Harris. In the far west of Andalusia, Spain, lies the former province of Huelva, where the José y Miguel Martín bodega produces casks using time-honored techniques, before they are matured in their cellars in Jerez. Isle of Harris has been sourcing its carefully selected oloroso casks directly from them since 2015.

Nose : Rich and spicy. Cinnamon, orange zest, cloves.

Palate : Smoky and sweet. Nuts, fireplace, thyme.

Finish : Long and smooth. Leather, licorice, roasted malt.
