The Tormore distillery was founded in 1958 and began producing in 1960. In 1972, it doubled its production capacity, growing from four to eight stills. After being acquired by Pernod Ricard in 2005, in 2022 it became part of Elixir Distillers, the independent bottler owned by brothers Sukhinder and Rakbir Singh.
