Amazingly, Tormore is the first distillery built in Scotland since the turn of the 20th century (1958). In 1972, it doubled its production capacity from four to eight stills. Tormore was acquired in the spring of 2022 by Elixir Distillers from the Pernod Ricard group. Revealing a fruitiness of incredible diversity, this version also crosses herbaceous and honeyed regions which highlight the freshness and youthful expression of its aromatic and gustatory palette. In unison, the chromatic palette, dominated by yellow tones, is also nuanced by a few shades of green.
